Ocoee River Rafting
The Ocoee River offers World Class Whitewater Rafting on Class 3 and 4 rapids. The Ocoee is located in East Tennessee, and flows through the Cherokee National Forest. Trips begin at our Ocoee River Outpost located in Ducktown, Tennessee. The Ocoee River rafting is one of the most popular whitewater rafting trips in the U.S. Minimum age for rafting on the Ocoee River is 12 years of age.
Ocoee Rafting Trip Options
Middle Ocoee River:
The Middle Ocoee River offers class 3 and 4 whitewater rafting, with over 20 named rapids. The Middle Ocoee River trip is approximately 3 hours total trip time with about 1 1/2 hours on the water.
The Upper Ocoee River:
The Upper Ocoee River offers almost continuous class 3 and 4 whitewater rapids. The Upper Ocoee was the river was host for the 1993 Whitewater Olympics! It is an exciting and challenging whitewater course, and some of the most exciting whitewater in the US. The Upper Ocoee is available on Saturdays and Sundays in the summer season.
Ocoee River Combo Rafting Trip:
The Ocoee River Combo Trip includes rafting the Upper Ocoee River (The Olympic Course) and the Middle Ocoee River on the same day. It includes a catered, grilled riverside lunch in between the Upper and Middle Rivers. Total trip time is about 6 hours. This is the most popular trip option on the Ocoee, and it is available on Saturdays and Sundays from Memorial Day in May to Labor Day in September.
